Department Description and responsibilities:
GMAIT (Global Medical Affairs IT) is a division of I/T within client, supporting each of the four client's regions.
This department is responsible for delivering innovative business information technology to our Medical Affairs departments globally.

Project description :
Design and develop backend processing module in WebMethods, for an application that will capture Medical Information requests at conferences. This backend process will process the request and forward it to the relevant fulfillment center. The system needs a webservice that is exposed over the internet and a process monitor. Project includes requirements analysis, system design, development and UAT support.

Environment, Development Tools and Platforms:
• Webmethods using JAVA technology
• MS SQL Server
• Project : new system development “Janssen Medical Information Enquiry System (JAMIE)” – capturing medical information requests at congresses

Tasks :
- Technical analysis of the requirements
- Design the architecture
- Design the database
- Implement webmethods process
- Implement database storage
- Implement outbound emails
- Implement monitoring framework
- Implement HTML reporting
- Perform integration testing
- Perform UAT testing
- Provide project documentation

All tasks are to be performed to the J&J processes, standards and procedures.

Resource requirements :
- good technical and implementation skills
- good knowledge of IT Architecture
- good database knowledge
- good HTML knowledge
- writing skills (project documentation)
- precise and acurate
- knowledge of compliance processes

Methodology/Certification requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
• High School Diploma, or equivalency as determined by the state of which services are being performed
• Additional certification is a plus
