Project/Department Description and responsibilities
The client's Global Treasury Services Center is a division of J.C. General Services, the Coordination Center of the client's group. The Center is acting as an Inhouse Bank to provide worldwide affiliates with treasury services like funding, exposure management, bank & insurance relations management and the settlement of payments.

Functie omschrijving

Environment Development Tool(s) and Platform(s)
• Core J2EE (knowledge of the most common design patterns, best
practices, etc)
• Oracle database 11g
• BEA/Oracle Weblogic 8/10 (experience in migrating from 8 to 10 is a
plus)
• Subversion as version control system
• Familiar with Hibernate and the Apache Commons libraries

Primary Tasks and responsibilities
• Working with J2EE to develop internal client solutions as
determined by project manager
• Willing to work and migrate legacy J2EE (Weblogic 8) application to
new J2EE6 (Weblogic 11+) environment
• J2EE developer will work as part of a close knit team developing a
range of applications
• Responsible for the development, integration and testing of these
new applications
• Providing user support on these applications to internal clients,
working with ticketing system ClearQuest to track issues.

Technical profile requirements
• Proven experience of developing or designing Java or J2EE solutions
is essential. You should have knowledge of the SDLC (software
development lifecycle), worked on at least 2 Java projects and have
performed some Unit or System testing.
• Familiar with version control systems, branching etc.
• A background of development in J2EE across the full development
lifecycle.
• Database experience is essential with either Oracle or SQL. Oracle
XMLDB is a plus.

Methodology/Certification requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
• High School Diploma, or equivalency as determined by the state of which services are being performed
• Additional certification is a plus
